One of our favorite quotes is by Andy Warhol, “I always say, one’s company, two’s a crowd, and three’s a party”. It just wouldn’t be a party without your guests, so don’t forget to thank them for attending! From a thoughtful parting gift for a birthday party or a welcome bag for a destination event, our key advice is to customize it with something unique about your personality or the event. Here are some of our all-time favorites!
This 60th birthday celebration was held in Santa Barbara, one of the birthday girl’s favorite cities so she wanted a themed gift to give away to her guests at the end of the night. The gift bag included a customized tote, a vintage Santa Barbara postcard, local artisanal popcorn (the birthday girl’s favorite flavor), and a bottle of wine from the Santa Barbara Winery displayed in a wooden crate box.
A destination wedding in Playa Del Carmen calls for a few essentials! A custom tote bag, personalized luggage tag, beach towels, water shoes for the underground cave excursion, custom weekend itinerary, and lots of local snacks! In addition to receiving a welcome bag upon arrival, the bride and groom also wanted to make sure they had a final night cap toast on the wedding night. Guests came back to their rooms to find, two shot glasses with a mini Patron bottle, and a custom engraved cutting board with the same design as the welcome bag, and last but not least – lemon slices!
Many guests of this Bar Mitzvah were from out of town so a Welcome Bag was placed in their hotel rooms upon their arrival. A Los Angeles map tote bag was perfect to house all the goodies that included Los Angeles Magazine, a box of See’s candies, a bottle of water, a Los Angeles postcard, and since the party was a baseball theme – some Big League Chew Gum and Cracker Jack! The parents of the Bar Mitzvah boy had their own adult celebration while the kids partied in the adjacent ballroom. To thank their guests, they provided two custom gift boxes for men and women! The women’s box had L’Occitane foot cream, massaging foot soap, and soft scrubbing loofah (to tend to their feet after dancing the night away!). The men’s “Whiskey Lover’s” box had a small bottle of Macallan 12 year old Scotch Whiskey and a bagged set of whiskey stones.
Clearly, our clients like some libations! Our next bride and groom welcomed their guests to their Mexico wedding with a branded bottle of tequila, using a custom drawing of their three dogs. Doesn’t get any cuter than that!
